The UCLA is an organization committed to forwarding the liberal ideals amongst the University of Calgary's student body. We are linked with the Alberta Young Liberals, which subsequently links us to the the Alberta Liberal Party, Liberal Party of Canada in Alberta, and the Liberal Party of Canada. We are a sanctioned club with the Young Liberals of Canada, and therefore receive club delegate spots to national conventions and is the umbrella organization for all the student clubs and commissions in Alberta.

The goal of the UCLA is to unite liberal minded youth at the University of Calgary and help spread the liberal message at the grassroots level. We also strive to include youth policy in the National and Provincial strategies.

Fundraising

The UCLA hosts a fundraiser every year, where a prominent Liberal comes to speak.

Events

The UCLA hosts many get togethers, pub nights, and general meetings. We also host joint events rarely with the University of Calgary Conservatives (UCC)
