• FINAL EXAM: Saturday December 13th, 12p.m--2p.m. in KN GOLD
• Midterm: Thursday, October 30th, In Class (moved from Tuesday, October 21)

Take Home Assignments

• Assignment 1 Due: Monday October 27th at 10p.m. (submit via Blackboard)
• Assignment 2 Due: Monday November 24th at 10p.m. (submit via Blackboard)
• Term Project Due: Friday December 5th (TA's will download from Wiki)

Time Boxed Assignments

TBA's 1-3 on the Wed/Th tutorial of the 3rd week for each lab module.

• TBA 1 -- Spreadsheets: October 1st/2nd
• TBA 2 -- Databases: October 22nd/23rd
• TBA 3 -- Problem Solving: November 12th/13th
• TBA 4 -- Design: This TBA will go through both tutorials on the week of Dec. 1st.

Term Project Landmarks

These are the "landmark" dates by which you should have certain tasks completed. Your TAs will help you with each of the listed tasks up to, and including this date, but not afterwards. Remember to use both Class Time and CT time wisely to consult with your TA and ensure your team's project is on the right track.

• Team's and Titles -- October 6th
• Initial Project Statement -- October 13th
• Information Review -- October 20th
  • at least 10 web/library references per team member
• Argument -- November 3rd
  • an outline of the logic of your argument
• Oral Presentation -- November 14th
  • The In Class Presentations will be announced later -- usually the last 4 classes, depending on # of teams.
• Web Presentation -- November 21st
  • TA's will download the Wiki pages Dec. 5th for marking.

Term Project Oral Presentation Dates

The Oral Presentations will be done in lecture class. Each group has approximately 7 minutes. Cut-off times will be strictly enforced, so every group gets a chance to present.
