The University of Calgary's Faculty of Social Work is one of the largest in Canada. We are proud to offer the only social work degree program in Alberta and are mandated to deliver social work education province-wide. This means that in addition to studying at the Calgary campus, you can get your U of C social work degree from our Edmonton Division, our Lethbridge Division, or our Access Division, which delivers the BSW program in several rural, remote and aboriginal communities. Our faculty offers BSW, MSW and PhD degrees in social work, although not all degrees are offered at all locations.

Exciting initiatives in social work education, a strong research agenda with multiple research partnerships in the community, a rich program of continuous learning and professional development, and growing capabilities in information technologies - we offer all this and more! Our results speak for themselves: our graduates are eagerly sought-after by employers from across the country.

We hope your connection with our Faculty, whether you are a current or prospective student, faculty or staff member or community professional, is meaningful. Please contact us for additional information.
